Google, Microsoft 365 or Azure
Three genuinely different products. The right answer follows from your recipient mix, not from preference.
| Google Workspace | Microsoft 365 | Azure tenant | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Gmail-heavy lists | Outlook-heavy lists | Volume at low cost |
| Sold as | Packs of 3 | Packs of 3 | 100 per tenant |
| Per inbox cost | Higher | Higher | Far lower |
| If something goes wrong | You lose one domain | You lose one domain | You can lose all 100 |
| Diagnostics when filtered | Minimal | Headers state the reason | Headers state the reason |
Decide on the mix, not the brand
Before you buy anything, check where the people on your list actually read their email. A list that is two thirds Gmail and a list that is two thirds Outlook need different inboxes, and checking takes a few minutes.
Where the Azure trade sits
A tenant is not simply cheaper inboxes. It buys a safer volume shape, because 1,500 sends across 100 mailboxes is 15 each rather than 150 each. It also concentrates reputation into one pool, so an unverified list can affect all hundred at once. Under roughly 1,000 sends a day the isolation of packs is usually worth more than the saving.
